What to do

Check which businesses get a good grade (green) and which get a bad grade (red.) Do business with the good ones!

Good businesses use their income to pay their employees, buy services, and reinvest in their core business. Bad businesses use too much of their income to pay the owners, shareholders, and top managers. This usually means that employees are underpaid, customers are overcharged, loans are acquired, government policies are manipulated, and the underlying product is made cheaper.

Investors deserve to be fairly compensated for financial risk, but this must be balanced against the interests of the employees, consumers, and the economy at large. Not only is it unfair to overpay investors and managers; it can also lead to an aristocratic society which stagnates economically. This is what we are experiencing now.

Slow this process by reducing the amount of money you give to businesses and organizations that overcompensate managers and stakeholders. Encourage companies to obtain and use profits fairly!
